We are often asked the meaning of our name "Quavant".  

The base "avant" is from the latin/romance language root meaning front, vanguard, and cutting-edge. The most well known usage is "avant-garde", a French word for the advance guard who had the courage to be the first to engage an unknown foe on the battlefield. Today in English, it is better know to describe the cultural cutting edge. Our team has always found itself on the cutting-edge of new technology, ideas and ways of thinking. So it seemed a fitting way of capturing our spirit and special talent, but also that of our clients.

As for the "Q"? Well, its just a cool letter.
